My daughter adores Bristol Ballet Centre! Quite simply and in her words, ‘It is my happy place’

Whilst in the care of Miss Sherman and her wonderful team she has grown in confidence, performance ability and of course dance technique. She has made many new friends, won medals in local dance competitions as an individual, duet and team with inspiringly beautiful dances choreographed for her by BBC. The icing on the cake has been an offer for full time training at Elmhurst, a dream come true which Miss Sherman was an integral part of giving her the belief she could achieve.

Welcome

We are committed to providing the highest level of dance training for our students, and are constantly looking at new ways to inspire, improve and support our dancers and ensure that those who chose a career in professional dance are given the best pathway forward. From our in-house Elite classes, guidance, and audition preparation for outside Associate Programmes, tailored private coaching, competition experience and personal conditioning programmes, we offer an exceptional standard of teaching at the highest level. The fact that a large number of pupils continue to progress to top vocational schools including The Royal Ballet School, Elmhurst Ballet School, Arts Ed London, Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance,  Northern Ballet School and Moorlands International Ballet Academy, speaks for our experience, expertise, guidance and knowledge.

Bristol Ballet Centre offers the highest quality training in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Contemporary with the option of joining our Elite Associate Program if selected, Private Coaching, Competition Coaching, Audition Coaching, Progressing Ballet Technique and much more.

Established in 1983, Bristol Ballet Centre has been providing outstanding classes  for nearly 40 years in Westbury on Trym, Bristol, and upholds the same values it always has – to provide a professional  dance training in a fun, nurturing environment.  For whatever reason your child wishes to dance, we can provide both a recreational and vocational pathway with highly experienced teachers to ensure they reach their potential.

We are happy to welcome pupils into the Bristol Ballet Centre family from the age of 3, where we explore a magical and creative introduction to ballet in our Pre School classes.  Our caring, friendly teachers ensure that even at this young age, a careful level of technique is established whilst enjoyment is paramount. We pride ourselves on the large number of the students who continue on with us until they leave for University - never having had any intention of pursuing a professional dance career, dancing purely for enjoyment and social reasons, and making friends for life along the way.
